CPSC Schedule for Third-Party Testing of Children's Products. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced dates of publication for accreditation procedures for new requirements for children's products and corresponding dates when third-party testing will be required.  
   
ACLASS Offers Accreditation to ENERGY STAR Computer Specification Test Methods. EPA will require that any lab conducting verification testing of ENERGY STAR qualified computers be accredited to ISO/IEC 17025.  
   
ACLASS Signs APLAC MRA for RMPs. ACLASS has become one of just five accreditation bodies worldwide to sign the Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation mutual recognition arrangement for reference material producer accreditation. ACLASS has also been approved to continue as a signatory of the IAAC MLA for calibration and testing.

ACLASS Accredits First Inspection Body. ACLASS has awarded its first accreditation certificate for ISO/IEC 17020.

 
   

The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ACLASS is now accepted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) as an alternative to the methods used by licensees to qualify commercial-grade calibration service providers (as defined by 10 CFR Part 21). The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ACLASS provides accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for testing and calibration laboratories. ACLASS also provides accreditation for reference material producers (RMPs) to ISO Guide 34 and inspection bodies to ISO/IEC 17020.
