ACLASS Accreditation Services is fully recognized both
domestically and internationally. We have signed mutual recognition arrangements
(MRAs) with several U.S. accreditation bodies (A2LA, NVLAP, IAS) as well as 46
economies around the world. These economies include the United Kingdom, Canada,
Mexico, Australia, all ILAC participating countries in Europe, Asia and South
America. These arrangements facilitate the acceptance of test and calibration
data between ACLASS accredited labs and the aforementioned economies.
Specifically, ACLASS is a signatory to the International Laboratory
Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) MRA (www.ilac.org) .
Additionally ACLASS has signed the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation
(APLAC) and the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) MRAs. APLAC and
IAAC are two of the recognized regions of ILAC. More information can be found at
www.aplac.org and www.iaac.org.mx.
Accreditation Bodies around the world will typically pursue ILAC
recognition through one of the recognized regional cooperations of ILAC. Because
we recognize the value of information sharing at the regional level amongst the
accreditation community, ACLASS chose to pursue both APLAC as well as IAAC
recognition. We actively participate in the meetings held around the world.
ACLASS Accreditation Services is also recognized by several agencies of
the United States government and military. Much of the U.S. government and
military have acknowledged and embraced the ILAC multilateral recognition
arrangement. In some cases, we have been working on specific agreements with
various departments within the government as well as major market leaders in the
private sector. For more information on federal, state and private sector
recognition of ACLASS, please contact us at info@aclasscorp.com.
Domestically, ACLASS maintains recognition by NACLA.
Although NACLA has dissolved the MRA, ACLASS supports NACLA's restructuring
efforts and continues to help move NACLA
forward.
