APSP Requires Testing by Accredited Labs
The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), an
ANSI-accredited standards developer, has indicated that spa
manufacturers in the United States intending to meet the
requirements of ANSI/APSP 14 will need to ensure that all testing
is done by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. In some
cases the spa manufacturer may pursue accreditation and in other
cases the company may outsource the tests to an accredited lab.
