ACLASS Offers Accreditation for Special Inspection Agencies
The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board has expanded its
accreditation areas to include Special Inspection Agencies, with
specifics targeted to New York City.
ACLASS accreditation for inspection bodies and inspection
agencies allows you to assure your customers of your compliance
with international standards and international recognition of good
practices, and your technical competence to perform specific types
of inspections. ACLASS accreditation also provides a ready means
for customers to identify and select reliable inspection services
to meet their needs.
ACLASS uses ISO/IEC 17020 and IAF/ILAC A4 for accreditation of
inspection bodies. This program is also based on International
Building Code requirements. The application form includes a list of
inspection areas for which accreditation may be applied.
ACLASS welcomes the opportunity to accredit inspection agencies
in the New York City metropolitan area whose goal is to become
compliant with the rules of NY section 101-06.
